  • Engine Options: One of the biggest changes coming to the 2020 Subaru Outback lineup comes from under the hood. The standard engine gets enhanced as a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that produces 182-horsepower where before it produces 175-horsepower. Another major update comes in the form of the available engine, now a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 260-horsepower where before it was a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 256-horsepower.
  • Greater Fuel Economy: With the new engine options comes even greater fuel economy. The Outback now offers up to an estimated 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway, an uptick of one mile per gallon for both areas.
  • Large Available touchscreen display: The 2020 Outback now features two impressive touchscreen displays. On base models, the Outback gets a standard 8-inch touchscreen display, while all other models get a larger 11.6-inch touchscreen display. All models come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
